Training provides mental stimulation to our dog and is an excellent way to establish a relationship between the owner and the animal. In addition, it also helps us to understand the evolution of the dog in learning by providing the possibility of developing social skills.
Dirty and Happy offers different types of training according to the type of dog and its needs. For example:
Basic training
Especially suitable for young dogs, we focus mainly on obedience to their owners in basic commands such as sitting, standing, lying down, following together without a leash, calling the dog, etc.
Training to correct the behavior.
The objective is to teach the dog to behave correctly when he has other people or other animals nearby, either other dogs or when crossing a cat. Other problems that are usually common are excessive barking or breaking things at home. This type of training is ideal for young dogs.
Advanced training.
- IGP (RCI, IPO or VPG). It is a sport that combines three different disciplines: Tracking, which takes place in a cultivated, sown or grassy field; obedience and protection. This type of training is focused on the selection of the best specimens for reproduction.
Mondioring. It is also a sport training modality where the obedience work, the agility through the jump of obstacles and the task of protection are combined. The mondioring is characterized mainly by the variability of the tests since in each exercise the order and the way in which it is executed is dictated so the initiative of the dog is very important.
- Agility The agility tests are characterized in that the dog must overcome a circuit with different obstacles following previously established rules. In this type of test it is very important to do the course in the shortest possible time and also to pass the obstacles in a clean manner.
- Vocational training. It is so called because dogs acquire specific skills, given their great capacity for learning, they can be trained in tasks as different as hunting, search and rescue, to assist disabled people. These learning processes are usually long and it is important to start from a solid basic training.
